Lauren "Lolo" Wood and LoloOdell Beckham Jr. have their co-parenting game plan all figured out.
But that's not to say it didn't take work for the former couple to get there. In fact, the new Ridiculousness host, who shares son Zydn, 2, with the Miami Dolphins wide receiver, expressed how she can see the impact of this peaceful dynamic in their little boy.
"Co-parenting is definitely something to navigate," Lauren told E! News in an exclusive interview. "I think we do a really good job at it because Zydn is the happiest baby. He is so smart and just lovable."
"I feel like that's a testament to our own success of co-parenting, especially being bicoastal," she continued. "He's working on the East Coast, and I'm working on the West Coast, so Zydn is getting a lot of travel time. It teaches both of us to become better humans. You're working with somebody else's schedule and you're responsible for a whole other human."
While the 31-year-old wouldn't mind getting a few more hours of sleep amid her busy schedule, Lauren and Odell—who dated from 2019 to 2023—have made it work. She added, "It's fun navigating it, and I feel like we both grew from that."
"Until we're completely responsible for another human being, we live in a state of self-interest and self-perspective," Lauren explained. "It changes overnight the moment we have our kids."
She's grateful to have a co-parent she can lean on, especially while finding her rhythm as she's balanced life with a toddler and her work—which includes a new role on Ridiculousness.
And now, she's also taking a permanent spot on the red couch, alongside Steelo Brim and host Rob Drydek, following Chanel West Coast's departure from the MTV show last year. But it wasn't an easy feat.
"It's a testament to my own perseverance," Lauren reflected. "It just makes me realize that I'm capable of way more than I ever thought was possible and I'm capable beyond my own expectations."
In fact, she sees motherhood as her new superpower.
"It's like my mind grew a third hemisphere that's only about Zydn," she quipped. "My capabilities multiplied. My Zydn hemisphere is the fastest, most creative, problem-solving part of my brain. I'm entertaining, I'm animated, I'm engaged all the time."
And as her little one gets older, parenting has gotten a whole lot easier for Lauren. As she put it, "I'm finally getting back to myself and getting back to a balance of being able to do things for myself."
